An old map of Shaw & Crompton from 1851
An old map of Shaw & Crompton from 1851
We have been lucky enough to come into posession of a very old map of the Shaw & Crompton area - way back from 1851!

This map has obviously seen better days but it is amazingly preserved and very detailed.

I have added the map to our new documents download section http://www.shawlife.co.uk/document-downloads/historical-documents/old-map-from-1851.html

You need to be a registered user to access the downloads, but registration is quick, easy and 100% free.

The map is in ZIP format which means that you will need to extract it to view it on your PC - if you have any problems doing this then please contact me - I only zipped the image because it is a very big image!
