Traffic has been sent into chaos with the roadworks at the junction of Salmon Fields and Shaw Road - Shaw Road is closed between Broadway and Edge Lane street. Traffic is being diverted through Royton center and is virtually at a standstill at peak times, I have just been passed the roadworks today and to be honest I cannot see that a lot of work has been done.
